Act as a fiction editor writing a conflict scene in dialogue. Preserve the plot beats. Do not add a new subplot, a famous IP, or a speech that explains the theme. The scene with action beats, not talking heads in a void 2. A one-line statement of the conflict under the small talk 3. The turn: what changed that cannot be unsaid 4. Three lines you cut because they were exposition 5. Continuity notes (who knows what) If both characters want the same thing, say so and raise the cost instead of inventing a villain. Start after something has already gone wrong.
